Passionate! Passionate! Passionate! WOW!,

This book was totally breathtaking. From the first page I was hooked. Susan is a genious at writing love scenes, and the best part is that the charactors are in love before they submit themselves to one another. Totally sensual, and leaves you "wishing!" My only suggestion is to read her books in order because they are all relative, meaning she uses the same charactors in every book thus far. The story continues with the same family but amazingly enough you do not feel like some things were left un done at the end of the book, it just graudally picks up in the next book. I highly recomend this book, its a must read.

This was a wonderful read, a richly romantic adventure. I read the last one hundred pages in one sitting because I simply could not put the book down. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat, and the relationship between Emma and her hero-to-die-for Striking Thunder was hot enough to heat up this cold winter night. Well done, Ms. Edwards! I can't wait for White Nights next April.

I was slightly disappointed after finishing this book. The beginning started off interesting, but I had already gotten half way through and was still wondering, when is the romance going to begin? Sure, it has plenty of action, but this is supposed to be a Romance Novel! However, the Romance did kick in about half way through... and although I know Romance Novels are sometimes a little cheesy, this lacked creativity. The foreshadowing gave too much prediction and the story grew boring for me after awhile. It got old being able to guess everything that was going to happen next, and the scenes she described were like a bad movie that never made it to the theater. The story lines were also very repetitive and she over used some phrases and conflicts way too often. What a bummer...
The writing wasn't horrible, she is a good writer and can describe images very sharply and has the ability to draw you in, especially in the love scene. However, I was rather disappointed with how unoriginal the book was. No creativity, too predictable, and not enough suspense because YOU KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN! Even the "twists" weren't that great, it just kills me that such a good writer can ruin her work with lack of creativity!

Yet another amazing romance from Susan Edwards!
The White Series continues in this breathtaking novel about love, passion, family, and adventure. A great read, fun filled, touching, and memorable. Edwards shows the beauty and strength behind the Native American culture and ties it in wonderfully with the romance genre. 4.5/5 Stars!
