Amazing!,

This album is a masterpiece, at first you think it's a bit pop , but then the more you listen to the full album, it takes effect on you and every song seems to fit the mood that you are in at that moment.
I have had it for almost a week now, and have listened to it at least 10 times so far. Brilliant structure and composition, and the lyrics are beautiful. I love this album.

Absolutely Brilliant,

This is only my second Amazon review but I just had to write one for Madlove because every rock / metal enthusiast needs to listen to this album. By far one of the best records I've heard all year and probably one of the best thinking rock records I've heard over the last couple of years, Madove's White With Foam is a musical delight. The varying instruments, the dark melodies, Sunny Kim's vocals, the haunting pianos, the ambience, the explosive riffs which disappear leaving you hungering for more; this album has it all.
Trevor Dunn's put together a real solid group of individuals, each of whom seem to come from varying backgrounds. One can also sense Dunn's strong relationship with Mike Patton; certain sounds you KNOW Patton would also incorporate in his records. That said, Madlove is its own beast of a band and I can't wait to listen / see more of them soon. Stand out tracks are Absence & Noise, The Mute Number, As Sad As It Was Beautiful, Left With Nothing, Art of Denial & Rats With Wings.

Some catchy stuff,

Some really interesting elements come together for a really solid debut. Metal, pop, experimental soundscapes, jazz along with a really eerie, trance-y way of singing come together for something very unique and oddly catchy at times. I found myself singing some of these tunes in my head at times that I'd least expect. Don't get me wrong though, half of this stuff is so strange that I don't think I'll ever get it stuck in my head no matter how much I listen to it which is both a good and bad thing. I highly recommend this if you like to hear original, unique and sometimes challenging rock.
