This a great classic piece of jewelry for work or to dress up a classic outfit.

The main reason I bought this item was because I need to get jewelry that won't bother my fiance's skin, as she has metal allergies.

She still wears it to this day with no problems, and my amazon purchase was at least 4 years ago.

It is hard to find jewelry for her because often the sales people aren't sure about metals, or the online description neglects to mention it. This purchase didn't let me down with any of that.

I was expecting this piece to have a clean, high-luster pearl with no blemishes as was advertised. But I was a little disappointed when I received it in the mail. The pearl was blemished and didn't have the reflective high luster that I anticipated. It's true that you get what you pay for. However, the blemish is hardly noticeable unless you're looking at the pearl really closely, so I won't be too fussy about it. I still like the overall simplicity and versatility of the piece, and it still goes well with my other pearl jewelry. I also like the glistening 14k white gold baby box chain. So, I'll keep the pendant, and to be fair, I'll give this piece a four-star rating.

This necklace is much prettier than it looks on the site. The pearl is a nice size, the finish on mine is lovely. The chain is quite fine and nicely made. I got it for work but it looks good with casual clothes too. My expectations were exceeded!

TRADITIONAL PEARL with chain running through it. 18" hit where could not be seen under round neck t-shirt, etc. Probably returning it because of length, wish had 16".

I love the simplicity of this necklace. It's perfect for everyday use and also great if you want something more formal.

I received this pearl necklace in the mail today after much anticipation...I must say it arrived quiet quickly (within a week), after all I do live in Australia!! After reading all the reviews I was really anxious as to what it would look like. Firstly, the packaging was nice, however, I think that rather keeping the pearl necklace in a sealed plastic bag within the gift box, it should have been placed better with the pearl resting on the foam and the chain tucked in behind. The reason I say this is because although I am very happy with it.... the chain is very lovely and shimmers brilliantely and the pearl is a great shape, size, and has a very lovely high lustre, there are slight scratches/blemishes on the one side that are visible to the eye if you look closely, which is a real shame.....I'm assuming this was caused by the way it was packaged, as the chain could easily rub against the pearl and ultimately scratch it. Overall I am happy with it and very glad I purchased it...it's great value for money! Since purchasing the necklace I have worn it often and received many compliments....it goes with anything, from casual to special occasions.

Bought this for my Fiancee over two years ago and she still wears it 6 out of 7 days a week. It is beautiful, simple, and a purchase you will not regret.
