Bought this for my girlfriend for our 1yr anniversary. It's her birthstone. She's rather picky though, so I was nervous. She loved it. Absolutely loved it and has worn it almost every day since. She has even changed the style of shirt she wears day to day to show it off. No more tight collars, now there are more loose and v-cut collars. It was packaged beautifully and was definitely shinier or more sparkly than I would have thought. Being a former Marine, I like sparkly things.

I bought this as an anniversary gift for my girlfriend and she thoroughly loved it. She was taken aback by how beautiful it was and couldn't help but wear it every single day the next week. If you are to get any piece of jewelry, this would be a very exquisite choice.

When I was shopping around for what to get my girlfriend, I was initially leaning towards buying her a diamond necklace or diamond earrings. However, having done my research, I've come to realize that the web is littered with countless products that barely qualify to be called diamond. The cuts, color, and clarity are all lacking unless you can spend more than a couple hundred dollars. However, these diamonds are quite impressive. Although the clarity is not the greatest, the cut and the color very much make up for what clarity is lacking. Although being small (since they are supplements to the main piece), you can definitely see the sparkle of the diamonds and they are a very classy complement to the emerald.

Now on to the main piece of the necklace. The emerald is absolutely beautiful. It is a dark, deep and vivid green that is really one of a kind. Emeralds aren't really meant to be shiny since they do not have the intrinsic nature of the diamond, but this emerald does carry a substantial luster. Don't expect it to light up the room, but I would consider it shiny for a natural cut emerald, which leads me to my next point. When looking through different emerald products, I came across varying prices and couldn't figure it out until I realized that a lot of the less expensive emeralds were synthetically made in the lab and thus cheaper. In the descriptions, these synthetically made emeralds are also called simulated emeralds and judging from the pictures they seem to have an unnatural shine and an artificial cut. If you can afford the natural stones, the natural emerald is a classier choice. The shape of the necklace is like a large teardrop and the length is slightly shorter than the length of the nail of your index finger.

For a 1 carat emerald stone, $400 is a decent price. This necklace can act as an understated everyday piece, but can also act as a glamorous center piece on a night out. It is a very classy piece of jewelery and is highly recommended as a splurge or a gift for your loved one.

I got this for my wife for Christmas. She loved it! Need I say more. Ok one more thing, it attracts attention as it is that type of jewelry.

Very nice pendant and chain. Only problem is that the chain is very fine and my wife caught the chain on the collar of her shirt and it broke. So be careful when handling this chain.

This is a nice pendant which arrived fast (Prime) and well packed. Nice bag and box adds to the quality.

I was hoping the emerald would be a darker green and the diamonds more sparkling than they were so I returned and purchased another pendant from the same company.
