Gemstones: My wife was very particular about the color for aquamarines (NOT TOO BLUE !). Bought these without really knowing the exact color, but trusted Amazon Collection to put out a good product. They did just that and my wife was thrilled. Size matched her 1 cttw diamond earrings very nicely as she put one of these in the second hole on one ear.

Setting: I had purchased other aquamarines through the internet (not from Amazon) and the one stone fell out of the setting in one week. Not so with these. Stones are set very well. In fact, backs are better than the screw-on backs that came with the $2500 diamond earings. One of those came unscrewed and fell off after about 2 weeks of wearing them. I'd prefer the diamond earrings be placed in these settings. (I bought the white gold)

These are two more reasons for me to continue trusting the quality in the Amazon collection.

I ordered these at the end of March and they arrived today in Oregon. I got the white gold setting. These earrings are very nice...color and cut. The only thing...I am used to "tiny" earrings and these are on a larger post on my small ear. My daughter said they look very nice and I will get used to them. I pd. twice the amount for another set of aquamarines shortly after Christmas for a "dressier" look. These are more casual and I am looking forward to wearing them.
Update after wearing them several times: I have received compliments at work from others that noticed them right away. I highly recommend amazon.com!

these earrings are beautiful! they are my birthstone, and are set beautifully...have gotten many compliments on them. they are very comfortable to wear as well. highly recommend!

I received these lovely earrings today. I must admit that, based on some of the reviews, I was concerned they would be too small. But they are not. They are really beautiful and just a perfect size for every-day wear. The color is wonderful -- not too blue -- perfect aquamarine.

Once again I ordered from Amazon assuming they would not sell a lesser product and, once again, I am very happy with my purchase. These will be my everyday earrings.

The earrings were junk. One of them broke on the 3rd time that it was worn, and amazon would only return 80% of the original purchase price.

I bought these earrings in white gold for my niece's 19th birthday since aquamarine is her birthstone. I've studied gemology and am a bit of a gem "snob." Aquamarines can very considerably in color and quality, and it can be hard to find aquamarine jewelry that's both affordable and of good quality. These earrings are a "true" aquamarine color and the cut really brings out the beauty and brilliance of the stones. The size is far from what I'd call "teeny weeny" -- they're not huge, but they certainly can be seen. My niece prefers smaller studs, and anything larger than these stones would be too big for her. For those who prefer larger stones, these would be perfect for a second hole in their ears. I highly recommend these earrings, especially if they are on sale.

These are certainly adequate quality but they are more the size a child would wear. I am going to get a pair of earring jackets to make them look more substantial. I got them for $39.99 on Today's Deals so I don't feel so bad, but I wouldn't pay any more than that for them.

It's a very nice earring set and my wife was very happy with the color of the stones because it's difficult to locate aquamarine.

For people like me who never learned the metric system of measurement (and I have a masters degree!), please understand that the picture of the item is always magnified. In this case, the earrings were extremely magnified because, in reality, they were teensy weensy. Why bother to buy beautiful stones such as aquamarine if no one can see them? Even though I had hoped to give these as a gift, they will have to be returned. Much too tiny.
