I knew these earrings would be small, but I got them on a very good Lightning deal. I was surprised how nice they actually were when I got them. I wanted to wear them every day, and they are small enough to not be obtrusive, but special enough to be noticed. They do sparkle quite a bit, which was a nice surprise as well. I have several other black diamonds and none of them have the lustre of these diamonds.

They are very pretty, and if you want to wear black diamonds that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, these should definitely be put on your list.

These earrings are great, a tad bit less shiny black diamond than i expected but i got them for my mother and she loved them. the best part is you cannot beat this price. amazon sells them for just over a hundred and zales sells them for just over 500. so take your pick

While the earrings themselves are absolutely gorgeous they are much smaller than I'd expected. Should have paid the little extra and purchased the 1 ct. In comparison to the 1/2 ct diamond (clear) that I own they are nearly half the size. I assume it's because the black diamond must be a heavier stone -- hence the smaller the size. But the black diamonds themselves are very nice -- lots of shine to them. That being said I priced the same size earrings (but 10ct white gold not the 14 ct white gold) in local store and I did save 50% approx by buying on Amazon.

I bought these for my wife when they were on sale. Her ears are fairly small and she wears them in second holes in her ears behind other earrings. They look very nice like this, but I wouldn't suggest them if you only have one set of piercings. These would also be very nice for a younger girl, maybe high school age? If you can afford to, I would go bigger unless for one of the reasons I stated. They look really cool, though!

The backings were loose fitting, I worry about them getting caught and falling out of my ears. But the earings were cute and dainty.

Earnings were much smaller than expected since on-line picture seemed to make them appear larger. I guess they might look ok on a small child (with pierced ears)! However real problem was that they were received in a damaged state as one of the back fastener clips was crushed and would not hold. Fortunately, Amazon is giving a refund with only a small amount of paperwork to complete for my return to them.
