I don't read autobiography's but one of my friends insisted that this one was worth looking at. One day while waiting on my kids I picked the book up and began reading. Once I started, I couldn't put the book down. The book drew me in and kept me amazed from beginning to end. I have been telling everyone ever since that they have to read the book. I was impressed with the style of the book. The author has really done a great job and wow what a life story.

What an incredible insight through his own life dealing with diversity. Everyone should read this book and take it to heart!

This book is a movie waiting to be made...In the face of "reverse discrimination" and competetive sports, a young man shines as he tells his story of being the white bull on a black team at a black university. Through his eyes, we see that people are untimately the same. With perseverence and an abiding faith, Chet Grimsley shows a true heart for people and the attributes of a winner. A must read!

This is a fascinating book that shows how far we can go in life with unshakable determination and perseverance. The author shares how he conquered obstacles most of us would have found insurmountable. He depicts how he successfully broke through racial prejudices to become a beloved member of an all black college football team. This is an incredible book that offers life lessons for all of us.

The book gave some insight into a white man attending an historical black college. I found that if I had not read the book, I would not have missed anything... not a must read, not worth keeping on the book shelve.
