The third masterpiece in Cross's 'Eternal Guardians' series,

The Fourth Guardian was a wonderfully captivating thriller. The Lost Guardian: an epic novel, marvelous in both its scope and execution. The third book in this series is entirely different. It is raw and ruthless; it takes no prisoners. It takes no stock in anyone's hangups, pretensions or prejudices. And it blasts them to pieces. It is a groundbreaking work full of chaos and it always gives you what you least expect. Read it. You'll never be the same. I think that's good. Wow.
