This does not begin to compare to Lego construction kits. It was very difficult for our 12 year old granddaughter to put the pieces together and the pieces would not stay together. I would not buy another construction product from that company.

i ordered this item having put in request for a Lego White House Kit and somehow this was what was sent...I suppose it did not say Lego after all sorts of things popped up on the computer...I don't know... but I had requested that and assumed that was what I was purchasing. I would have to say that it was "a bait and switch" situation. My grandson has been totally dis-pleased! The pieces do not stay together....keeps falling apart. I am very unhappy with the purchase. It was to be a surprise thing to do while he was being left at home from a trip and it only offered frustration for a child who is very good at putting all kinds of Lego together....this is not Lego!

Don't know where to begin. Let me start by saying if it isn't Lego, Megabloks, or Kreo(from Hasbro), then don't buy a building block toy. Daron, or BestLok as shown on the directions, is crap. Real junk. Imagine made in China, but with none of the quality standards of Lego. Pieces don't fit well together, then some that do are nearly impossible to separate without breaking your fingernails off. Color inconsistencies abound, on a set that is 99% white, it showed to be variations of white. The concept of building a white house, then having 2 figures that can even go inside is dumb too. Once you get it built, if you put on the stickers, try not to have to reposition them. They tear as easily as the price stickers at the store. These are NOT Lego quality stickers. Then once they are on, would you really disassemble a set that was so hard to put together in the first place? My 6 year old son, who is a Lego fan, got this as a present (sorry, I have to tell the truth). He has assembled Lego Star Wars ships that are complex, with over 600 pieces. This set was SO hard to assemble because the pieces did not fit well at all, that I (a 45 yr old father) had to finish it for him. And it was HARD for me. I hurt my fingers pressing on some pieces that would just not fit at all. If you want a set that your child can build on their own, then take apart and rebuild, then buy a Lego set. did I mention the instructions are so hard to read too, poor instructions for kids to follow. and yes, unfortunately for my son, this was the 2nd product from Daron/BestLok that he got for a gift. If he ever gets one again for a gift, I will return it to the person and apologize. His other Daron/BestLok set is a Police station, motorcycle, and helicopter set, with about 8 figures. It cost only $10, but I know why. Now you do too.
