White Kitchen Island with Natural Top

I bought this after buying the microwave cart. it's very easy to put together and it has plenty of room on the inside. i needed something to put my slow cooker on and this gave me not only space for slow cooker, but for all my cookbooks and bakeware. I would have given it 5 stars if it would've had a shelf in the inside, but it's just a big space that can accomodate bowls.

This island matched a cabinet I already had so I was very excited to find it.Shipping was very slow. It was a bit difficult to assemble but I am lucky to have a very handy husband.Unfortunatly it did arrive damaged. There was a large chip on the top and one on the drawer front.I contacted the seller "Home Store Galore" and was told to send the part numbers and they would replace.My husband was able to minimize the damage on the top but we did need a new drawer front. I sent the part number to the seller
but dispite multiple emails to them I never recieved the part.

After looking into many carts, this one was perfect for the small space in our kitchen under the window. We didn't need another chopping block so the surface is perfect for us. The shelves are just right to hold my cook books. Very cute!

I got this yesterday and put it together last night. It took just over an hour by myself. The directions are really easy to follow (even when the pieces are not marked like mine). I was missing the drawer front and called and left a message with the company and they called me first thing this morning and are shipping it to me free of charge, it was great to have no hassle at all, they are really great!

The finished product looks nice. I have a couple of gaps but that is because I didn't tighten some of the screws properly so its fixable. Lots of room inside.

Only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 was:
1) drawer bottom looks super flimsy...I would not recommend for a silverware drawer I don't think it could hold a full set.
2) the shelves are a little too close together. Someone with more construction skill could easily move them, I am not going to attempt it and risk damage...I'm handy but not that handy!
3) The top has a lip, I expected this to be on the front, but its at the back so that is weird to me. I personally have this against a wall so it just makes it sit that much farther out but not a huge deal. I just wasn't expecting it, it is definately not something you could sit at so I don't see the point.

Overall, for the price it looks really nice. And if you have any missing parts the company that makes it is really really easy to deal with! I definately would recommend this to a friend.

great design. well thought out, and fairly easy to assemble. poor product quality, not close to what even a lower level Thomasville company should be. the finish was scratched, and in places peeled. wood split. the drawer front was missing. shipment damage included a dented top. to be fair, an 800 number is there to order replacement parts free of charge, so we'll see what shape they arrive in. I have the matching hutch and buffet with similar damgage.

This is perfect for a small kitchen were extra counter space is needed. It's solidly built and easy to assemble. I put mine together with my primary hand sprained. It's heavy so be careful when moving the item while it's in the box.

This kitchen island requires significant patience to put together. It took me about two hours to assemble, but the pieces went together fairly easily and the finished product feels sturdy. None of my pieces were damaged - the corners of the box were reinforced for shipping. It would be nice to have a shelf inside the cabinet. The side of the island where the shelves are does not have the nice carved baseboard that the front and back do, which makes it look cheaper. But on the whole the furniture fits the purpose I bought it for (to hold my microwave and give me some extra storage space), and it was reasonably priced.
Update 04/10: The island is holding up well. Two notes: the corners of the faux-butcherblock top are REALLY sharp. It hurts a lot if you run into it with your thigh. This would not be a good item to have in a home with small children (whose heads are at that level). The lack of a shelf in the cabinet is not a problem, because I'm using it to store tall kitchen appliances.

This item was fairly easy to assemble. You have to be careful not to peel the paint, though, so watch for that. The door had a little bit of extra paint on it which I will have to clean up, but I don't think that will be too tough. The door also sits a little below the drawer, so there's a bit of a gap. It was shipped in good packaging, so no damage. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase for the price. It's attractive and decent quality.

when i look at this and read all the inputs it sound like a nightmare but it was very easy to set up and it came not damage
so i was very please with my product. It look very nice and i am very please on how well it made .

I recently moved in with my girlfriend and the small apartment we share with the kitchen was in need of table space so we got this product as a resolution. We were very happy with the price and although there is some assembling require, for myself it was simple. The only complaint I have is that the grooves on the door of the chart were in need of paint. I simply just took a little brush and some white pain to that and bingo best looking piece of furniture for the price. Regardless, great deal and was happy we selected this as a solution.
