This review is from: White Lies (Kindle Edition)
This story centers on lies that are more than "white" lies. The lies are about substantial events and have significant consequences. Very broad sweep, spanning a period of several years, these characters wrestle with honor and duty at the time of Napoleon. The author renders a fast paced story about how lies (and everything else) have many unintended consequences, many of which cannot be undone. The book surprised me and in the end I was sorry to leave this era and these characters behind.
