I recently purchased white lines (long Version)by Grandmaster flash and melle mell. It is still one of the best hip hop songs I've ever heard. I know I know I'm old! But you just gotta listen to it to hear that it is better than half the rap they play now. Is it still okay to say rap?? It's been Y E A R S since I've heard it. I own the album (you know that thing you put on a turn table when you listen to it) Okay Okay you can stop laughing we have already established that I'm old.... But did you know that it was the first anti-drug song released (I think). anywho, I bought it so I could listen to it in the car, because try as I may I just can't get the album to fit in that little box marked cd player (lol).Any way try it, buy it you will love it and you just might find yourself listening to songs like planet rock and play at your own risk.
