This puzzle was a good challenge. The picture is very detailed. It is always a good family activity. From the educational point of view, all puzzles are good for stimulating memory and strengthening spatial relationship skills. They are good brain exercise and good, clean fun.

This puzzle has a lot of different items, tree branches, smoke house, visible figures that make it more fun then the all snow or all sky, puzzles. Doesn't necesarrily make it easier but more enjoyable, the frustrating as all one color can be.

I've been doing puzzles my whole life, and by now as soon as the weather outside starts to turn cool and I'm forced to spend hours indoors I look forward to starting a new puzzle. What a wonderful piece of art this one is. I liked it so much that glued it together and I'm building a frame for it. The pieces are shaped a little more unusually than what I'm used to, but the pieces do fit together well. The contrasting colors not only make for a beautiful finish, but also for a trying adventure. I wouldn't say this puzzle is hard, nor is it easy. I guess it depends on your experience level, but I doubt you will be disappointed. And if you do find it challenging the promise of having this beautiful picture to display will keep you going for hours on end.

In my opinion, 1000 pieces in a puzzle is too many. We would have enjoyed it more if the puzzle were a little smaller and the pieces were about twice as large. Read more
