I think this is the third puzzle I've reviewed on amazon.com. I do about one jigsaw puzzle a year - this one was completed while we were living in temporary housing prior to a move across country. It will be memorable for that reason, but also because it was yet another terrifically rendered, good-fitting, jigsaw puzzle from the folks at White Mountain.

There's not much more to say other than the pieces fit well together, the graphics are great, and have fun!

The review asked if this was a "fun toy." I wouldn't call this 1000-piece puzzle a toy. I purchased it for a grandmother who loves to put puzzles together. I think anyone 13 and over would enjoy putting this together if they enjoyed this type of past time. There are countless hummingbirds and the intricacy of the colors makes it a challenge. It was fun just trying to count all the hummingbirds in the puzzle.

I bought two White Mountain puzzles last Xmas for my mother in law. While she enjoyed the challenge of putting them together one puzzle had 2 pieces of a different puzzle in the box and was missing the two pieces necessary to complete the picture.

My Wife loves Jigsaw Puzzles and it is a chalange to find new and difficult ones. These fit the need and she was very happy with them

I bought this puzzle for my mother. It was missing 2 pieces. An email was sent to the company and they said she lost the pieces. There are no children or pets running around my mother's home that might have knocked a piece off the table or taken a piece. The pieces were never in the box. I am very disappointed with this puzzle and the company.

At least you can feel like you are learning about different kinds of animals, but let's face it, jigsaws are a huge irreversible waste of time.

Consider it a bargain of a mental health saver if you are an obsessive compulsive like my 6 year old daughter. I just don't want her to start prescription medications just yet.
