I have a teenager on my list this Christmas that's hard to buy for and who is a Civil War buff. When I came across this puzzle, I thought "this might be fun for him to work". It arrived today and I'm amazed with the quality and detail of this puzzle. This puzzle isn't "just" a puzzle to put together, I think it would be fun for the Civil War buff not only to work but also outstanding framed to hang on a wall as a piece of Civil War artwork. I don't think the picture we see for this product on the webpage does the puzzle justice as much as it does seeing it in person. What was going to be a fun Christmas present, just turned into an awesome present for my teenage Civil War buff.

I'd highly recommend considering this puzzle, whether just for the fun of working the puzzle or to take it a step further in framing and hanging it. An outstanding value and purchase!

I bought this puzzle for my kids because we were studying the civil war in school. It is really a beautiful puzzle, very informative, and enjoyable to study once it's completed.

My only disappointment is that we were missing three pieces of the puzzle from the time that it came to us. Therefore, we couldn't glue it together or frame it. Also, the pieces just didn't seem to interlock tightly together. There was quite a bit of shifting.

Overall, it's really a very interesting visual. It's a great way to help bring history to life for any family.

I bought this puzzle for my father who is a civil war buff, as well as a lover of jigsaw puzzles. Needless to say, he was floored. It came right away and in perfect condition. I would highly recommend it for a civil war buff or a puzzle lover....or, of course, both.

Gave this to our Civil War Buff son-in-law to be as one of his civil war gifts. He loved it!
