I have done several White Mountain puzzles, and all have been educational while being reasonably difficult. The only problem I had - and this is more my 57 year old eyes than the puzzle - is that much of the writing describing the history of monuments and memorials is quite small (I needed a magnifying glass).

For anyone who enjoys jigsaw puzzles, I would highly recommend this and the other White Mountain products for their high quality at reasonable prices.

I ordered a puzzle from this company on December 7th. I had ordered it with the intent of gluing it together and giving it as a framed present to my mom. I figured that around twenty days before Christmas was ample time for delivery and assembly. On the website, they say that missing a piece from your puzzle box is a rare occurence. However, upon putting my puzzle together, I was missing around twenty pieces (all from one corner) and I also had duplicate pieces. I looked on the website and contacted them through email on December 13th and explained to them what the issue was. They responded, telling me that they couldn't send me certain pieces because of factory differences. They asked that I send them the duplicate pieces and a letter with an explanation of my problem. They told me they'd be able to send me another puzzle. I did so and they recieved my letter on the 20th. It is January 1st, 2012 and I have yet to receive my replacement puzzle. The puzzle is nice, however, if you're looking for the puzzle as a gift and need it for a certain date, I'd look elsewhere. If you're missing pieces, good luck.

Got this puzzle as a gift, it was well received. I have seen it used as fun art (matted in a frame) and it is ideal for a challenging but manageable group activity. Fast service and as described, thanks!

This was such a fun puzzle to put together. We spent 2-3 days at Christmas putting this together. It was so much fun, we couldn't stop! It has all the sights we've grown to love in DC plus some we didn't know were there. It was so nice, we framed it. Sturdy, easy to assemble, yet challenging.

I took my boys to most of the landmarks on this puzzle this past fall, so this was a natural choice for them for Christmas. We have done the Historic Pennsylvania puzzle by the same company and greatly enjoyed it, so we are looking forward to putting the Historic Washington, DC, one together soon. My 10 year old liked the PA one so much he wants to do it again every so often. I think he will feel the same about this DC one.

I bought this for my grandaughter whonis now into puzzles and loves DC. Accomplished both interests and she tried to identify places whe's seen.

Another great puzzle from these guys-- I have bought several (flag, states, etc...). I only wish they were a part of the Amazon network [...]
