Hey, it's a plastic dishpan. No surprises, I just couldn't find them in stores for some reason so I ordered them just to cut the guesswork.
All-purpose cleaning aid.

Will add this has a nice lip around it so makes lifting out of sink easy and just the right size to fit the top rack of the dishwasher to sanitize. It comes out all sparkely new looking...ok it doesn't sparkle but like new and sanitary.

This size fits perfectly into my sink. The Rubbermaid dishpans at the stores have a type of handle that makes it too wide. It's a Rubbermaid, so I don't have to tell you that it's of excellent quality. Kind of pricey but it will last a long time.

We have been using this bowl heavily now for several weeks. It is strong, can take boiling water without distorting and it's fairly light. We think it is a good buy for the price.

It's hard to get excited about a tub for the sink -- unless you've been trying to replace one and been unable to do so. I couldn't find this simple product at any of my local stores. I've used a Sterilite version before, which worked fine, and this also seems well-construced. It was a pleasure to have it sent directly to me, and I am as enthusiastic about this dish pan as I'm likely to get about something that basically sits in my sink.

I was spending far too much time looking for one of these at different stores that used to carry them, but no longer do. In desperation I looked for them on the internet, and was glad to see that they are still available, it's just that the folks who know better what I want than I do have decided to stop carrying them. I almost bought them through Amazon, but saw that Rubbermaid's web site says they are carried by RiteAid, True Value, and Ace Hardware stores. And indeed they are, for the same price or less than listed here at Amazon.

Sturdy. It wasn't as large as I thought it would be, and couldn't use it for the reason I ordered it. No reason to return it so I put it to a different use.
