I bought these earrings for my husband as a present, he loves them and wears them everyday.

I was super excited to receive these as a Christmas present from my husband. They are gorgeous in my opinion, however, the first set of earrings that I received were cut differently; the diamond table tops did not match. We shipped them back and ordered another pair. I anxiously awaited my new set, and even though they came back matching, they were still cut very poorly. I decided to keep them anyways, and I do receive compliments every time I wear them. I am satisfied, but if you are a diamond connoisseur, you will probably be disappointed.

For years I have been looking for black onyx and white gold earrings and couldn't find ones I liked so I though these would fit my want for a black/white gold earring. I think the Amazon description is a bit off because these do not "sparkle" but I didn't expect them to sparkle. However if that is what you are looking for I think you should consider either another cut (round) or go with traditional white diamonds with a traditional cut. The only other issue I have with it is that the backs that came with the earrings are not tight enough so I have substituted other earring backs. These are not the most expensive earrings but you still don't want to loose one right away and with the backs that came with them one earring fell off the first day (lucky I was at home and found it). If doing it again I likely may have ordered the 1 cttw set instead of the 1.50 cttw because perhaps they would have a nicer cut (the photo shows distinct edging and on the 1.5 the face is quite large you don't see the edges as much. Except for the loose friction back issue I am overall happy with this purchase.
