I stumbled across this particular album the day after coming home from a phenomenal Flogging Molly concert, in which I found myself directly in the front and staring at their bassist, a man called Nathen Maxwell. My best friend and I were so blown away by Maxwell that we looked him up and found his solo project, Nathen Maxwell and the Original Bunny Gang.
I'd never heard a single song on White Rabbit, but I bought the album regardless. I wasn't disappointed. Maxwell's White Rabbit is unique in sound, a blend of several different genres, and although his guitar playing is rather simple (and Maxwell admited to guitar not quite being his strongest suit), it stands out on just about any music playlist on shuffle.
Definitely worth it for fans of Flogging Molly or anyone who is willing to listen to something totally different.

To be honest I am not a hardcore fan of this band. I didn't even know they existed until I saw them open up for another band in Club Nokia (I believe it was Matisyahu, but I'm not entirely sure). Usually opening bands are meh. This band kicked ass! I went online as soon as I got home and bought this CD. Great lyrics and amazing music. Recommend it to everyone.
