If Devo ever had a heavy, druggy Rolling Stones period...,

...it would probably sound a lot like "The White Room," one of the most emotional albums I've ever heard. This album is truly "awe-ful," as in a spooky, white-light burning-bush awe of God. If you don't know Bobby Hecksher or Charles Brown Superstar, then you've probably never heard anything like this album, but you should.

There's not much more original than the Magic Pacer. Mssrs Bobby and drummer Mustachio (pronounced Moo-STACK-ee-o) create a multi-faceted analog wet dream, avoiding poseur cliche and riding the sinewave all the way to the 21st Century. This album is a definitive statement of a definitive band during a definitive time. I really like it. A lot.
