I was shopping for nice, shiny blue topaz studs for my girlfriend. These are just what she wanted. Contrary to what others said, I don't think the earrings are too large or too small. The size seems just right to me. The stones are really nice and have a really nice shine and sparkle to them. The color is also very nice, though perhaps a tad bit lighter than picture (although this might be my imagination and might very well depend on the lighting). I am very impressed with the quality. The earrings look very nice on my girlfriend and are definitely eye-catching. The setting is also very nice, and neither me nor my girlfriend had any problem with the backs of the earrings at all.
The one negative was that one of the backs did arrive bent, but all I did was bend it back with my bare hands which was not too hard to do. Just wanted to assure everyone that the quality is still as good as when other reviewers' evaluated the product.

These are very pretty earrings. Am very satisfied with them, except: the posts are a bit thin and the earring backs are teeny-tiny. AAMOF I've never seen such small ones in my life (and I'm over 50 yrs. young!). But, I will assume that due to the $69.00 price (I don't believe these would or could sell for the "suggested" retail price shown of $250.00+), the weight of the gold settings and backs reflect that. However, I never use simple backs for my stud earrings anyway, so replaced them with bullet clutch comfort disc backs instead. The color of the amethyst stones is a deep purple and the stones are clear and beautifully faceted. They are a great size and I plan on wearing these as my go-to everyday earrings. Glad I found these on Amazon.
