First off, the pictures are NOT representative of the earrings you will receive. The white gold is BRIGHT WHITE and the edge is broader than the stone on the front of the earrings -- which is not as it appears to me in Amazon's pictures. In person, it looks like a pair of bright silver earrings with a dimpled outer perimeter (these are supposed to be inset diamonds, but are not really visible with the naked eye). Silver would be preferable to a gold in my opinion, because it would tarnish and get a patina as the earrings appear in the picture Amazon shows. The diamonds don't really do much to accentuate the bright pink stones. For the price, I'd advise you to keep shopping.
The backs are well made and secure the post very well. Please note that these earrings ARE made in CANADA... which is probably why the workmanship is noticeably good. Overall diameter of the stud earring: about 1/4 inch. Overall diameter of the pink bezel set stones: 1/16" - the same width as the stem on a Qtip swab. I was looking for a very classic shape and color. These do not fit the bill.... |
