Narration is at a perfect pace, good for bedtime reading. I see that another reviewer complained about the quality of illustrations, but I personally like them - reminds me of when we were that little and read these books! And at this price, there is really nothing to complain about!

-Good book. Very original. I loved all 7 dwarfs. An emotional children book. Recommend for first readers, especially young girls.

Golden Books are the best. Great illustrations and wonderful stories. My 4 year old daughter loves to have me read them to her at bedtime.
I had the same books as a child in the 70's.

This was purchased as a gift for a young relative, and her mom said it was a 'good' book with colorful illustrations, which her daughter seemed to enjoy.

Timeless story. My 2yr old Daughter loves this book. Great for a young girl. Buy new for next-to-nothing.

I read this to our son, sadly, after he "out grew" these books, they were passed on. Happily, after searching all over I found these treasures on Amazon and now have a new collection for our beautiful grand daughter to enjoy.

Pictures and story are fine, but it's written so poorly and awkwardly that you'll want to jump out the window after reading it to your kids a few times. Come to think of it, I think I hid this book so I wouldn't have to read it anymore. Should have guessed that a Disney book is not the quality of a classic Disney movie.

I was greatly dissapointed in the print quality. All pages are cut in difference sizes and don't match the cover. The binding is somewhat fragile and didn't survive a couple of readings.

The book was what I wanted. I hated paying more for postage than I
did for the book. Also the book was bowed and I had to put heavy
books on it to try to straighted it out. I was happy with the book,
just not the shipping.

Even though this is a Disney classic, we edited for our 3 year old. She doesn't see an ugly old witch, she see's some one who is grumpy. She doen't understand being jealous of someone's beauty, she understands just not liking someone. So we edited the words in the story from the witch wanting her dead, to the huntsman that's supposed to kill her (we said he just told her to go see the dwarfs because the Queen was mad) etc. It gets a little complicated and becomes not one of her favorites. As she gets older she might find some interest but right now books like "I love you Stinky Face" are more to her liking.
