I checked this book out because it looked "cute", but I'm glad I didn't buy it. I think the biggest problem I had with it was all the talk of "white" magic and such and how Abrev is a "white witch." Sorry kids, but there is no such thing as "white" or "black" magic. Magic is neither black nor white, its what you do with it. You have your positive magic and your unethical magic, not "black" and "white" magic.

If you're looking for "cutesy" protection magic, then you will love this book. I think that there should've been more explanations for some of the charms in the book; after all, if you don't know what a certain ingredient in the spell is supposed to do in your spell, how are you to know how it will affect it?

If you like "cutesy" magic books, then Abrev's "White Spells" series are perfect for you.

This book is fantastic!I don't care wether it's Black Magic or white magic!
It's magic!
the Father of the Author being a Santeria expert,i would be more tempted to call this book a book of Black Magic!
if the author called it white spells it's to avoid scaring people!becausepeople who don't know tend to be afraid of Black Magic!But there's absolutely nothing to be afraid of!
I believe Black Magic is good and this book of spells helped me go through awful times in my life ,especially when my Beloved Dog ,Paula wa s bewitched by despicable people!I unfortunately did not mange to sav emy Dog bu ti managed to avoid myself to be psychically hurt by that loss!!!that's why i am so grateful to this Magician,Ileana Abrev for writing a book which can help one overcome the worst spell casters who are so malevolent!Thank You,Madam!
