Okay so a lot of reviews here are saying bad things about these trays. I found them to be (as previously complained about) to be a little hard to use. The gel doesn't spread easily over your teeth unless you are really careful putting them in. However if you sort of hold them forward as you install them then press up the gel spreads pretty evenly. Some of it will eventually ride up and out. I found this to happen mostly on the inside of the teeth. After a few minutes in they create sort of a foam that does the whitening. Some excess saliva ends up happening but spit or live with it is my solution.
Now that said they work better than any other product I have used. I used the Crest whitening strips and they slip off, wad up, and don't cover many teeth so I didn't see a lot of improvement after using them. I have used several toothpastes that don't seem to work although lately I use Arm and Hammer Whitening with Peroxide brand and it along with these strips work really well.
I actually noticed an improvement after the first application of these trays. My teeth aren't really bad but after eons of coffee, tea and more they are more than a bit yellowed (if that is a word). I used the trays for seven days and the difference was very visable. I will probably continue to brush with my new tooth paste and use these trays every few months. I am very happy with the results. Oh and no sensitivity issues and believe me I have sensitive front teeth.

The gel doesn't stay in the trays and gets in your mouth. It grosses me out and makes me gag. It probably works well but it's too much torture.. I will stick to the strips

I had problems with the white strips staying in place in my mouth, so I decided to try these Trays. They are a little flimsy, but I think so as they can mold to your teeth a bit. I usually just squish them a bit around my teeth so that the gel moves onto all of the areas of the tooth. My teeth were noticably whiter in only 5 days with these. I usually do a week of these every 3-6 months to keep my teeth white. Not sure why all the other negative reviews, I think these are great.

I LOVE these trays!!! I don't know why so many have negative reviews. I am online buying more trays and could not believe these trays don't have a better rating.

I have had the trays made by the dentist but recently got my braces off and did not want to spend $500 on new trays. These trays are easy to use and they work. Yes, they are flexible but that is great because they fit around my teeth. I do have a little larger, longer teeth and a very big smile and they fit me fine as long as I push the tray all the way on my teeth and the let the gel ooze all the way up the tray. Plus my daughter used them on her adult teeth that were much more yellow than her baby teeth. (Not any more!) Not all of her adult teeth are in so I just picked out the extra gel where the missing teeth were.

I also tried the strips for a week (before I tried these trays) and they were worthless. I get results after one use of the Aquafresh trays! Great for on going touch ups and a busy lifestyle without a lot of upfront investment.

Takes me a little longer than 7 days to use these because I have to take a day off after 2 days. Which is usual for any type of whitening I use. Best whitening I've tried. The trays stay put and have a pleasant taste. I am a daily tea drinker and my dental hygenist turned me toward these, since I can not afford professional whitening. I have tried Crest and Rembrandt products w/o the level of whitening these offer.

I used the 7 day treatment. It definitely made my teeth less yellow. Frankly, my teeth used to be unacceptably yellow, now they are just slightly yellow. I did not experience any of the side effects that some users had (burning gum).

That said, my friends who have had dental treatment to whiten teeth end up with beautiful WHITE teeth. I don't have that, even after this treatment.

This product suits my purpose, but, it is definitely not a substitute for a whitener treatment by a dentist.

This is the worst tooth whitening product ever... I have tried all other teeth whiteners and this is by far the worst product. The trays don't stay in your mouth and the gel gets everywhere. Don't spend your money here!

I got this product because I like the tray idea for teeth whitening and it was horrible. I put it on like any other teeth whitening products and the gel started seeping out of the trays. Instead of staying in the tray, it started dripping into my mouth making me gag. I thought it was just me so I made my husband try it. Pretty soon, he was gagging too. Not a good product and I had to return it.

I just got this product in today and after one use, I won't be using the remaining 6 "trays".

For one, I wouldn't even call these trays. They're thin little pieces of plastic that were formed for a mouth not fit for a human. I'm only 5'7", not a very big guy and these trays are too small for my teeth. In some parts, they don't even touch my gums and I don't have oddly large teeth or anything. Not only that, but you have to constantly keep your teeth biting against each other to hold them in to place because they certainly don't mold.

My bigger problem is the gel, though. Maybe I got a bad batch? Everyone is complaining about too much of the gel in this stuff. That is what I was HOPING for. After using the whitening strips and whatnot, I wanted something that was going to evenly whiten all my teeth. I figured a lot of gel would make sure my teeth were all evenly coated. Not only do these crappy trays suck at fitting, but they only cover the front half of your teeth, they don't go back nearly far enough, just like the whitening strips.

Update - This is no longer the worst whitener I have used. This product is still terrible in my opinion, but ten fold better than Listerine's whitener.

The gel in the trays, for me at least, was just a thin strip on the bottom. There is so little that when I try and push it around in the tray, there isn't enough to cover all of my teeth.

Simply put, this product is a joke. I had big hopes for it, but this garbage needs a lot of work. I gave it a 2 out of 5 just because the taste isn't horrible.

I'am generally very satisfied with all of the aquafresh toothpaste brands. In fact all I use is aquafresh toothpaste. When I got these trays, I was excited. Their website along with their commercials portrayed a seamless and easy non-messy application of this product. Boy is that deceiving. Not only can you not talk with the trays in your mouth but the gel literally spills all over the place once in your mouth. It's not disgusting but annoying. It is however pretty effective if you can deal with the mess. I certainly would not buy this products as it is messy. Two stars for the effort.
