4.0 out of 5 stars Totally rad graph paper!, November 13, 2009

Yes, graph paper is incredibly dorky, and awesome. I love using this stuff-nice light lines let me focus on the idea I'm sketching out and not the squares.

The only thing that would make this better would be a more durable cover and spiral bounding (I'm a sucker for that!).

5.0 out of 5 stars Great paper, prefer this binding for lefties, July 18, 2011
This review is from: Whitelines Perfect Bound A4 Squared Notebook: Supporting your ideas (Paperback)
I discovered whitelines paper on a visit to Sweden and was so happy to find that Amazon sold them as well. I'm in grad school and do a lot of math, so prefer writing on graph paper to keep things neat. The standard blue on white can be very distracting (and the weights are generally flimsy), and the moleskine graph paper, while a better weight, is even more distracting as the lines are even darker. The whitelines paper is very high quality and takes most pens and pencils very well.

I got into an accident and have become an unwilling lefty for the past few months and this "perfect bound" is great for lefties. I can write on both sides of the paper! (Lefties will understand what I mean. I can't wait to no longer have to be a lefty.) The wire softcover binding that I had used as a righty got in the way of my left hand and didn't stand up well to frequent use in class - the paper started undoing from the wires.

I'm a self-admitted geek when it comes to pens and paper but being in class 8 hours a day will do that to you. Whitelines paper definitely helps keep my notes and calculations organized, and there really is a big tactile improvement when writing on good paper.

BTW I have moderate-to-severe ADHD and I'm convinced the white-on-grey helps me focus. A schoolteacher friend of mine said the same thing about one of her elementary school students when she had him use whitelines to do math.
