4.0 out of 5 stars excellent kjv reference, October 4, 2005
This review is from: White's Dictionary of the King James Language, vol. 1 A-E: Understanding Bible Words as they were used in 1611 (Paperback)
As a KJV believer, I find the book to be real helpful in getting the meaning of the words and phrases you are looking at for understanding. My only complaint is that is over-priced for a paperback. [$10 being about right] When every volume is put together, it will be a real handy reference source.

White's Dictionary is an excellent aid in one's study of the Authorized (King James ) Bible of 1611. Pricey?? maybe, but since I have had to go through the process of getting a book published (along with the enormous expense of personally putting up the funds) I can certainly appreciate the costs involved in a none-mainstream work. My only concern is: where are the companion volumes 2 & 3?? It's been over three years since the publication of volume one. I would like to look up the word "serpent" (not that I don't already know what the original meaning was/is). This book is highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.
