After thumbing through the hundreds of sporting magazines and hunting books that showed up in my mailbox over the past forty years, and seeing nothing but pictures and articles of monster bucks, I decided that it was time someone wrote a book about the REAL world of deer hunting - the world in which the vast majority of us hunters live. Such a book needed to contain a few down-to-earth but interesting hunting stories that the average hunter could relate to, along with some sound tactics for hunting the heavily pressured areas the typical weekend hunter frequents. So...that's exactly what I did. I really think you'll find it useful and enjoyable.

I ordered this book for my husband for Christmas. I received it so quickly that I was able to give it to him early when he went to deer camp. The book was a great read, easy to follow, and wonderful funny stories.

This is REAL deer hunting, not hunting on some fenced farm, paying for a chance to pass up a "mere" 6 pointer. I hope Mr. Clute continues with more stories for the true hunter!

The only negative I found was that the photos in the book weren't crystal clear, but I still give the book 5 stars!
