After being kept in suspense for the last 5 books, John "Stranger" finally feels that God has told him that it is time to get married. Of course, he is called away just before the wedding to track down an outlaw gone bad. Here we are kept in suspence to whether or not he gets back in time. They do get married in the end, and then John is called away to track down his bestman just before his honeymoon and is adamant that his new wife will not go with him into dangerous territory but Brenna is determined to keep to her vow "Whither thou goest, I will go..." We also learn John's real last name.

"Whither thou goest I will go, where thou lodgest, I will lodge. Thy people will be my people, thy gods my gods." So Breanna says to John...at the alter! A wonderful, and much awaited novel in the series. ...

This is a great Christian Fiction book for anyone to read. It is part of my favorite series, the "Angel of Mercy" series.

All I can say is "It's about time those two got married!" I am almost finished and this series is one of the best I have read. You can't go wrong when it's good Chrisitian reading. Thank you, Lord.
