This product worked wonderfully in one step in going 'organic' with my apple trees in 2007. Will continue to use in the future. Highly recommend.

Sticky Whitefly Trap (5-pack)

I've been using these on my plant stands for years and they serve me well. It is very satisfying to see all the insects they trap. One at each end of a stand keeps my plants fairly well protected from whiteflies and gnats. They hang with a baggy tie and so are pretty easy to deal with. I try to avoid pesticides and these traps help me do that.

So far they have been up for three days in my citrus trees and have trapped a bunch of different bugs. These traps work by attracting the bugs by the color of paper, it is NOT a lure. So far the pest I have been trying to capture, the CLM, has been found in these traps but that is by sheer chance and not in the large numbers I was hoping for. But that is what I expected going in to buying these. If you want a real trap with lure, look somewhere else. Otherwise, these traps work well for what they are.

These traps work to catch bugs but they only work by sticking the bug to the paper and by attracting certain bugs by the color of the paper.

They are good to get rid of some pests but it wont get rid of all of them. I have noticed a couple beneficial insects trapped as well. The glue has no prejudice and will trap everything that touches it. I have the blue traps as well but I notice more pests in the yellow traps.

All these traps need is some kind of chemical lure and I would have given it 5 stars.

I kept these in my shed for almost a year before using them. When I got around to planting my tomatoes, the white flies were en masse. I placed one sticky in each tomato plant and, unbelievably, it worked! I never thought it would, but I am sick of using chemicals so thought I'd give it a try. I will use these again.

The traps work well, but the hole punch tears through too easily and the traps blow off in a few days.

These sticky yellow white fly traps do succeed in trapping those pesky flies but if your infestation is out of hand you'll need to follow up with some other treatment. These traps alone will not eradicate white flies. I used these traps in my greenhouse and like the fact that this method doesn't require me spraying some nasty insecticide on the greens growing in there. Easy to use. I do recommend this product.

Had a massive white fly infestation on my assorted pepper plants here in South Florida.
Some of the leaves had so many white flys, the under side would be completely covered with flys and their "sap."
I hung these as per directions and days later was very disappointed.
Yes it caught some white fly but it also caught a lot of innocent moths, harmless little "hopper flys" and unfortunately a couple lady bugs. I wouldn't mind a few causalities of war but the good guys caught outnumbered the bad guys on several of the sheets.
Sorry but these traps only get 2 stars.
