I got this hamper cause I liked the two separate sides for splitting up my clothes, and it looked like it had enough room to hold it all. I should have payed more attention to the dimensions I guess but it is a bit smaller than I expected. Also the tent style posts that you can remove to collapse the hamper are not very secure. They just kind of sit in a small loop of material that loosely folds over them, making it difficult to move the hamper without the posts coming out and the hamper collapsing.

This hamper is not huge, but it's good enough if you're single or a couple without kids who does laundry often. It's really nice looking, so I'd say for the price I'm pretty pleased with it.

I read another reviewer's comments that the poles poke out of the side and the top collapses. Then someone else wrote that the first reviewer simply didn't set it up right. Well, turns out the second guy was either a paid reviewer or hadn't had it long enough to see this collapsing effect. It's annoying, but not the end of the world.

Overall - 3 stars due to the weekly frustration of having to reconstruct it. If the manufacturer would fix this problem, I'd buy a new one for sure. I love it aside from this flaw.

I got this and overall it's ok. People have mentioned the size is an issue. I can see that it would be an issue for a family. I'm a single young guy and got into the habit of doing a load or two each weekend. It was big enough to get me through the week, so it works under these conditions.

Other people have mentioned that it sags or falls down. This has never been the case for me. However, what DID happen is the four posts that make up the four corners are too weak. They were hollow plastic, and on the times when I missed doing laundry and overloaded this thing, the weight of my clothes was too much for the plastic to hold up. They started bending and just couldn't handle it.

For $2, I went down to Home Depot and grabbed some 1/4" solid wood cylinders, and now it's quite stable and can take the weight if necessary.

So, it's just ok. It works. It looks nice. But it will only work for one who does laundry at least once a week and may require some cheap modifications to make it more stable.

I like the the overall size and look of the item. It is perfect size for a child's room. However, when we unpacked the item, it stared to off-gas a strange smell. We have had the hamper outside for two days and it still smells. If you are at all concerned about indoor air quality, or you are sensitive to strong odors, do not purchase this item.

When I first went to use this product i hated it. once you start placing the laundry in it the outside corner brackets start poking out causing the basket to collapse. Then when i went to carry the basket to the laundry room i picked it up and the top alunimum piece broke. I don't suggest buying this product it is horrible.

This hamper was the perfect size for my laundry, however the design is terrible. The pieces you put into the corners to keep it standing do not stay in place. I am constantly revelcroing them. One of the corners where it attaches to the alluminum came apart after two weeks. I would not recommend this product.

I should have trusted the other reviewers. This thing falls apart CONSTANTLY. Especially if you have a tendency (like my husband does) of throwing clothes at the hamper instead of placing them inside. Looks great but flawed design.

I bought this item because it was the only one that would fit in the space I have in the bathroom. The quality is nice, it comes folded and it is easy to set up. 2 cons: the packaging was way too big and there is no cover. I knew there was no cover when I bought it but I realize it is a nice to have.

After reading many comments about this hamper collapsing, I was nervous to order it. But I figured, if it doesn't work I can send it back. A lot of the reviewers are correct that the tent poles fall out of place easily (on the bottom) and the hamper collapses. I thoroughly looked for any loops or grooves or something to put the bottom tent pole into to hold it in place, but there was absolutely, positively nothing. There is a velcro piece for the top of the tent pole, but nothing for the bottom.

FIX: about and 1-1/2 to 2-inches from the inside-bottom, I cut a horizontal slit in the fabric piece that runs up & down the height of the bag. Note the slit DID NOT go through the bag fabric itself, only that 1-inch wide fabric piece that runs along the inside. With that slit, I was able to insert the bottom of the tent pole in between the two pieces of fabric which got it to stay in place, plus the use of the top velcro piece for the top of the tent pole.

This is something that shouldn't have to be done, the manufacturer should have had something already in place, hence a 4-star rating. Otherwise, this hamper seems pretty good after only a few days of use; it's light-weight and serves its purpose.

I received this yesterday way earlier than expected. It was very easy to put together and looks great in our bedroom. I feel so much more organized than when using ugly plastic laundry baskets. Thanks for a great product!
