Okay it's not like there is a lot of variety in ironing board covers. I always thought that ironing boards were pretty much an eyesore that is until I saw this one. It's kind of retro but not crazy with small yellow and green squares. It looks great enough to leave the ironing board out and guess what it is really a good thick quality cover that fits regular ironing boards really well. Finally my ironing board has a place in my modern home!

To begin, I have to state ironing for me, is something that occurs everyday basically. I iron everything from my jeans to formal wear, so I need an iron and ironing board that suits constant usage. I decided as opposed to purchasing a new ironing board, others recommended to test out a new cover instead.

I came across this particular item and bought it after reading "Stain + Scorch Resistant Scorch-Coat." I've had it for roughly three months or so and not long after using the new cover, stains which appear like scorch marks become more visible. No, I do not leave the iron resting on the cover, nor has any beverage spilled on the ironing board cover. So I'm confused why it depicts being resistant to scorch and stains when it seems that isn't quite factual.

I'm actually afraid to iron white shirts now because of fear the stains will transfer from the cover to the shirt. I was thinking of washing the cover in my machine but haven't found anyplace online mentioning that's possible. The ironing board is good but the the stains present...quite alarming.

This ironing board cover is adequate, but I expected the fabric cover to be thicker. The padding is fine - it's just that top fabric of my previous covers has been far more substantial. I probably should have considered that for the price, this would be what I'd get.

I love the color scheme, BUT the cover fits too loosely. I've had covers that were too tight ... could hardly get it on the ironing board and others like this one that, as I said, is too loose and therefore puckers up on the top. It does not have any way to tighten it. As an example, it should have teflon tabs underneath in order to tighten or loosen.

It's nicely padded but not in a cumbersome way, like some covers. Wash it first. It has that combination factory/plastic packaging odor. It washes well on gentle. It's also clearly water repellent without being overly stiff. It also fits my standard ironing board perfectly. It looks like it will hold up for a fair amount of time too. Beyond that, there's not much more one can say about an ironing board cover.

This product is displayed with a pic of a white background with flowers. When it arrived it is a green background. Didn't even appear to be the correct item but it was indeed the same flowers. I bought as a gift and was diappointed in the look but was atleast the quality I was looking for.

Okay, so the only nice thing I can say about this cover is that it fits my board perfectly. Other than that, it is crap. It has almost NO padding. It isn't much better than my cover that was 10 years old. No joke. I can feel the metal of the board right through it without even applying pressure. When I ironed with it on, it did nothing to help with faster, smoother ironing or holding in the heat(I have a Rowenta iron, so I know it isn't the iron that is the issue.) A total waste of money. I bought a Dritz cover and put it over this cover on my board. I guess it acts as a little bit of extra padding, but if you are looking for this as a sole cover for moderate ironing, look elsewhere!

I like this cover. It is good quality and the price is right, which is important. The colors are soft and they sort of blend in with my room decor.

Item as promised, very well constructed, sure it will give me years of use...If ever I need additional ironing covers will purchase this again!
