Amazon.com

A lightweight and collapsible drying solution, this rack from The Clothes Line features coated hardwood dowels and simple tool-free construction. The rack is suited for wet gear, winter items, swimwear, and delicates that are unsafe in the dryer. Its numerous rods total 27 feet of drying space, and the top rack lets you dry items flat if need be. With their hardwood centers and stout plastic coating, the hanging dowels are durable and do not snag clothing. Simple assembly is required with this unit, but clever color-coding lets you see at a glance how to put it together. Between uses, it folds flat for storage. Fully expanded, it measures 42-1/4 by 29-1/2 by 14-1/2 inches. --Emily Bedard

This is very poor quality. One of the rods broke after only a couple of uses. Fortunately, I also bought a sturdy chrome model for about $12 more and that one still serves me well.

total piece of junk! Assembly is easy in concept, but difficult to actually do, because the construction and workmanship is so utterly poor. I bought this thing and one of the wood legs was nearly rotted through, but i figured i'd rather just wrap some tape around the stupid thing to keep it working. But after one use of holding actual clothes, that bum leg broke all the way through. So i called amazon for a replacement, which they sent no problem. But they made me return the old one.. which was a huge pain, because clearly it is not designed to ever be disassembled. Several of the legs broke when i tried to unplug the rods, and it all barely fit back in the box. And of course i had to take it to the post office myself too. So all this effort and headache for a lousy $10? Forget it.. get a better one from BBB for $20.

This thing is horrible. It does not work correctly. It is instable, some of the dowells were the wrong size when I got it, it falls over. Horrible, horrible product. DO NOT BUY. Spend the extra 10 bucks and get a nice one.

Cheap, flimsy and not at all suitable for the intended purpose. Mine broke after two weeks of use; one of the wooden cross-pieces had a huge knot in it and reshaped itself into something resembling a boomerang, causing the entire rack to lean perilously to one side. Hang anything other than your lightest dainties on it and the whole mess collapses to the floor. Garbage. Useful only as kindling.

Where do I begin? The instructions were in shreds, due to having been stapled to the plastic bag containing the rods. The instructions were unclear as to assembly. The rods didn't fit well into the rack sides. This was a cheap item with regards to price, so I didn't expect very much - but I got even less than I expected. I don't think I'll be buying anything by this manufacturer again.

What a piece of crap. Just putting this together broke it. And was missing one of the snap parts. Truely a waste of money.

This is a very light and fragile construction assembled from wooden dowels laminated with plastic and thin wooden planks. A few years ago I purchased a previous model from a hardware store; eventually one of the planks broke near its end that held the structure assembled, So I have been looking for a replacement since and bought a couple of these now.

I don't remember having any problems assembling the older version, but this one was harder. The problem is the instruction sheet is not clear about how to align the wooden frames before assembly. Also, some dowels do not fit in easily. If you inserted a dowel incorrectly, chances are that a plastic end will come off when you pool the dowel out.

If you have some simple tools and 20 minutes of time, you can fix all its problems and have a very light foldable drying rack that has no better alternatives at Lowes, Home Depot, and some other chains that I personally visited when looking for a drying rack.

out of all the dowels 2-3 were of shorter length. This made entire cloth dryer unstable & useless.. I thought they would first check the product (assemble once) and send it.. dont think they did.
