I keep this hamper outside my bathroom, so that towels and dirty clothes can be tossed in at moment's notice. When full, the hamper can be rolled easily, and rather quietly (for something made with tubular steel) to the laundry. The cart is deep enough to hold a load or two of laundry, but not so deep that reaching items on the bottom is a back straining adventure. Assembly was fairly straightforaward and why I say this reminded me of IKEA. The directions are line drawings alone, with no words - just like the numerous items I've bought from IKEA. Also, the design is rather ingeneous: you cannot put the item together the wrong way, it will not go together. The package includes an allen wrench for assembly, but you will also need a small philips head screwdriver to do the job right. For under $20, this is the best rolling hamper you're likely to find.

I bought this cart to use to transfer laundry from my washer to the dryer, as the dryer is located across the room from the washer.....it works fine. The only improvement I would find is to make the bag not so deep. I am not a tall person, and it difficult for me to reach the bottom of the bag.

I was excited when I read the great reviews for this product, but I was very dissapointed when I received it. I wanted this because I live in an apartment complex where I have to carry my laundry some distance to the laundry room. I thought it would be great to just be able to wheel it over with this. However, when I tried to put it together out of the box (it requires complete assembly), though it is simple to put together, not one of the small screws that hold the top bars on to the unit fit! All four will go half-way in and no further. Perhaps I got a faulty unit, but I see it falling apart soon because of this. Also, the bag itself seems flimsy.

I was also happy when I read that this rolls quietly, however, they must have been rolling it on carpet because out on the concrete walkway that leads to the laundry room, it is extemely noisy - I ended up carrying anyway so as not to disturb my neighbors. The only thing this unit has going for it is it looks nice and holds a surprisingly large amount of laundry. If you are just using this in your home, it might work well for you, but if you need to take it out to a laundry facility, go with something else.

it does the job but the wheels don't stay on and the screws were a bit hard to get in- we arleady lost one.

This product is the best on the market. Others don't come close. With 4 teenagers you have to have a clothes system that works. This does!

We bought 3 to sort the laundry for a big family. Each hamper is large enough to hold 1 or 2 loads of laundry. They wheel easily and are very light. Exacly what we were looking for and VERY inexpensive compared to others we looked at.

I love this hamper because I am tall and I don't need to bend over so much. Before buying I read a prior review saying that the velcro attachment seem to come loose with lots of laundry...so I sewed them instead and it is great.

The Whitney Design 07105 X-Folding Chrome Hamper Is a wonderful product. I am handicapped with a wheelchair and needed to have a laundry cart that was easy to move, hold a weeks worth of clothes and would not make much noise when in use. I found all three requirements in this hamper. First it was very easy to assemble. All you needed to have was either a straight or slot head screwdriver; they provide the rest. It took only about ten minutes to assemble. The wheels that came with it were easy to insert and they roll so very smoothly. The last cart I had, well it's wheels were awful and noisy. I also like that the Laundry Bag. It was made with long strips of Velcro across the top of the bag and it holds very well. But since it is Velcro, you can take the bag off and wash when needed. So I definitely rate it a five.

Product was shipped immediately and arrived in excellent condition. It was not too difficult to put together.

As to the product itself, it is not too sturdy and will not hold up to regular rigorous use. The biggest problem with it (that has been noted by other reviewers) is that the cloth bag slides around on the chrome and will not stay in place. To get the bag to stay in place, I had to sew Velcro on it and then glue Velcro on the chrome sides. If I had seen this in a store, I would not have purchased it.

Bought one for myself and loved it so much I ordered one for my aunt.
