About the Author

Danielle Valle is a specialist in business development, marketing communication and training. She has over twenty years of experience in management, technical and marketing activities. She has been employed by large corporations and has acted as an independent business consultant for large, medium and small companies. Ms. Valle's focus is in new technologies, particularly telecommunications and the Internet.

She has authored books on starting and expanding a small business, on the impact of ISO Standards, and on implementing and using the Internet in business. She has also developed several management training programs, including a distance learning program on the Internet.

Danielle has a background in major corporate environments, as well as extensive start-up and entrepreneurial experience. She has spent many years involved in start-ups and training new entrepreneurs.

During her career, she performed numerous consulting and reorganization assignments in large organizations. She has coordinated with Presidents, VP Human Resources, VP Info Systems and Training Managers on projects. Her responsibilities included (but were not limited to) assessing requirements, strategizing organizational changes and developing business and technology plans with subsequent implementations. She has had a significant involvement with emerging telecommunications and media technologies.

She has also accumulated an important strategic Internet technology background, including knowledge and analysis of a series of learning management systems and content management systems, as well as Web site development strategies and techniques including e-Learning content development. Her strengths: analytical business planning and management, technology monitoring and use, training, customer/user relations, and outreach to achieve acceptance of change.

She managed e-Learning/e-Information projects, including strategy, planning, course conversion, course creation and production, Web-Based Training production team coordination, selecting and implementing course authoring tools and learning management systems, Web authoring tools and Mobile Learning products.

Her books are published on the American market and sold worldwide. She is a speaker in the U.S.A., Canada and Europe on business and technology topics, and has assisted many organizations with their entrepreneurial programs. She studied Communication, Graphic Design, Marketing and Management and is a member of the Advanced Thinkers Team that participated in the Advanced Thinkers Summit sponsored by Harvard University.

I had a desire to start my own business, but did not know exactly what to do and how to do it. When I looked through this book, I knew I had a gold mine in my hands. It had everything I needed, from Ideas to registration information and basic contracts, it even comes with a diskette that has spreadsheets and other basic documents you'll need, and it tells you how to use them all! Let me tell you it was well worth it. I am now in business, and I have only one thing to thank, the Whiz Teens in Business book. It tought me how to take my ideas and make them realities. This book answered all my questions, I ONLY HAD TO LOOK IN ONE PLACE. If you have any desire at all to start your own business, take a look at this book, it's not a purchase, it's an investment, i give it five stars too!

As the CEO and co-founder of Net-Avenue, learning about business and how they operate was a key. Working with Danielle Vallee has been a great experience! Net-Avenue, featured in Danielle's new book, is just an example of what her book can help you achieve. Whiz Teens in Business helps teenagers understand the business lingo of today, and use it for tomorrow! I highly recommend you check out this book.

This is a wonderful book that really has a comprehensive and step-by-step process to successfully starting your own business. It is really easy to understand, and it's interesting too! I would recommend this book to any teenager that ever even thought of starting a business.
