Polly and Enchilada are best friends. They enjoy planning hide and seek and tag together. One day Enchilada notices something different about Polly. This is a great book for adopted kids and adoptive parents. I think it will help us with any insecure feelings we as adoptive parents have about not being the "real" parents, or worrying about our adopted kids not seeing us as the "real" parents in the future. There was a great need for this book, and we're so glad it was out there!

This book has a good message for children who were adopted. My daughter was adopted and has me read this book to her every night. She likes the simple pictures in the book. I can't recommend this book enough for children who were adopted.

My daughter loves books about animals and this is one of her favorite. She was adopted from China and the book has a nice and subtle message for her. It gives her an early lesson that parents are the people who love and care for you.
