I'm a huge This Providence fan and this album is their most amazing yet. I bought it the day it came out off iTunes, but I just had to have it in physical format. The band deserves billions of props. They are all very talented, and they are even more amazing when you see them live. Great album. It's a must have.

This CD is a must have. Not only are the songs amazing but the music videos that have been made are incredible too. As talented as Daniel Young is he has yet to reach his full potential. He is a mild mannered soft spoken Aussie who is full of energy. His stage presence is incredible. Once you listen to the CD you must see them live. Not only is this band talented but they are such great people as well. They deserve success. I purchased a few of their current CD's for the house, the car, friends etc. And now with the CD currently being sold for $1.99 it blows me away. This is a band to watch. Don't underestimate them for a minute. This Providence is here to stay.

Best Album Yet,
This review is from: Who Are You Now? (MP3 Download)
These boys from Seattle sure know how to use their talent. I came across This Providence during my search for a new band that refuses to sell out their sound. I found them. The first track, Sure As Hell, sets you up for the entire album. Though short, it's eerie sound leaves it to be one of my favorite tracks. With lead singer Dan Young's crooning and swooning, this album is unforgettable. From the pop-rock sounding "Letdown" to the slow and lovely "sand In Your Shoes", each and every song shows how much the band has changed and evolved, without loosing their sound found in "This Providence" (Self Titles LP.) Highlights of the album include: Waste Myself, Somebody To Talk To and Squeaking Wheels and White Lights. The band truly shows what music means to them, and how serious they are about it, and captivates the audience in it. I only wish these boys the best possible, and truly hope they will go far.
This is NOT an album you want to miss out on. DEFINITELY buy it.

Not just because I'm a big fan of the band, I must admit this one amazing record. Besides they worked with Matt Squire which another great producer. Lirically it's really meanful and musically: it has it all. Please get it. If you don't like it means you don't really have taste in music which is sad (:

Not half as good as previous CD, "This Providence",

This CD was a disappointment to the rich lyrics of the previous CD "This Providence". It seems this time around they were love sick over some girls instead of for God. It made them less distinctive.
