I learned to read with Dick and Jane many years ago. My grandson, who is 7, was having difficulty with his reading, so I thought I would help. The Dick and Jane books are so repetitive that my grandson feels successful every page he reads. Many of the newer early readers published in recent years do not go slowly enough for the struggling young reader.

Good for new readers.,

My mother bought these for my daughter and cousin's daughter who are both relatively the same age. We got them around the middle of Kidergarten and they did excellent with it. They have easy, repetitive words. And words from the same family making sight words easy for new readers!

Cute, I bought for my grandkids to learn to read. I read these when I was a kid. and it brought back fond memories.
