Editorial Reviews

Born in Lyon, the Progressive heavy-metal band DYSLESIA reached rapidly the status of a leader on today’s French scene. Published on the Brennus label, "My Own Revolution" (1999) asserted a very personal style, that might be placed between the works of QUEENSRYCHE and HELLOWEEN. A new band has to build up its own style on stage. That’s something DYSLESIA understood quite well. Concert after concert, the band managed to find its way and its audience. Finally, all these efforts and sacrifices have proved valuable since the musicians met a real success with their second album "Who Dares Wins" (2001), produced by Dennis WARD. This enabled them to share French and foreign stages with groups such as RHAPSODY or SYMPHONY X. The third album "Years Of Secret" gave the chance for a memorable tour, captured both in sound and pictures. "Story And Live" (2004) has the particularity to be the first DVD ever published by a French heavy-metal group. So it was obvious that the Brennus label should be chosen for such an event !
