Who I Am In Christ,
By Dan Frank, Senior Pastor, Grace Community Church (Reno, NV (USA)) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Who I Am In Christ: A Devotional (Paperback)
As a pastor I have discovered that the only true way to see a person's life change is for him/her to discover the new identity offered exclusively in Jesus Christ. Anything short of this is merely a counterfeit of the Christian life; any change outside of this new identity is only a temporary one. It is on this basis that I give a whole-hearted recommendation for Neil T. Anderson's book, Who I am in Christ. This book is a very well-thought-out and biblically accurate work. I encourage you to add this insightful book to your library.

Our whole lives are spent discovering who we are in this world. We believe everything BUT the truth because sometimes we just don't know. This book will transform your ignorance to knowledge and allow you to live the life God truly intended. Every person needs this foundational book!

Enlightening,
This review is from: Who I Am In Christ: A Devotional (Paperback)
This is a very good book. It let you know what your standing really is with God. It has great examples of what the author is trying to express in each chapter. This is a book that I would recommend to every christian that wants to understand who they are in Christ.

Neil T. Anderson has written many books, but this one is very concise and filled with the truth of who we are in Christ. To know this is good, but to believe it is life changing.

A nice devotional but doubles as a promotional tool,
This review is from: Who I Am In Christ: A Devotional (Paperback)
I recently purchased Who I Am in Christ. I am only seven chapters in but something is already very clear. Though the book in general is a sweet devotional, Neil T. Anderson does not miss an opportunity to plug his other works including his "life changing" Conference, and his books- "The Steps to Freedom," and "Victory over Darkness." Every chapter a reference is made to one or the other and at the end of each devotional I'm left feeling that unless I invest in one of his other works I'm missing out. A clever marketing strategy; but for me- a real turn off and distraction when trying to focus on my relationship with God.

Who I am in Christ,
This review is from: Who I Am In Christ: A Devotional (Paperback)
This book is refreshing. When I got a hold of this book, I couldn't put itdown. I felt blessed to be alive. To understand who I really am in Jesus Christ. I read it twice and then gave is book to my counselor to bless someone else. I felt Jesus loves me just the way I am through His grace, I just wasn't reading words.

A great way to transform your mind...,

I recently created a "Who I Am In Christ" Subliminal. My subconscious is bathing in positive, scriptural- based affirmations addressing my identity in Christ, masked by a beautiful waterfall and binaural beats so i can't consciously hear the messages. I enjoy listening to this WHILE I read this book! What a great way to saturate the mind with God's truth! Once we can convince, i mean really convince on both conscious and subconscious levels, ourselves of our new identity, the more freedom and effectiveness we have in God's kingdom.

This excellent book walks you through what it means to have our identity be rooted in what Scripture says about those who believe and trust in Jesus Christ. It runs so counter to all that the world bombards kids with that I do think it would be an awesome Bible study tool too. Very well done, engaging, written for teens, but equipping for any 13 plus age person.

God used this book to change my life. I finally understood the difference between believing a lie and believing the truth. And, as the Bible says, the truth will set you free. I am very grateful for this book.
