Book Description

November 28, 2005
Who Invented Lemonade? is a story for everyone.

Whether you’ve been fired from a job, broken up with a partner, received a failing grade in a class, or even lost a loved one, Who Invented Lemonade? will give you the tools you need to think positively, change your perspective, and ultimately live life to the fullest and make lemonade.

In life, we are all handed lemons of different shapes and sizes, but it’s what we do with these lemons that set us a part. We may not be able to choose the lemons we get, but we can choose what we do with them.

The power of positive perspective is also your choice. So choose it!

I think that book realistically expresses life's challenges in a way that even a child could understand. It was a reality check as well as a motivational piece. I have not stopped talking about making lemonade ever since I read the book.

I met Josh Shaw while we were competing on The Apprentice. He is one of the smartest businessmen I have ever met. However, I must say.....a huge suprise was his philanthropic side! Autism speaks is a great cause and by purchasing a great book, you are supporting children who need your help. Again, not only is this book one of the best short reads in business today, it truly benefits a wonderful organiation that we helped on the show. When reading a business book, if you can take away one great topic and put it to use, the book was well worth your time. This book gives you an example of one of the best topics in business. You can be a victim or a victor, you can't be both....You can become bitter or choose to be better...again, you can't be both. This book explores this topic in depth and does so in an easy to read manner with great metaphors. Great Read and Shaw captures the true essence of positive thinking.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT READ, February 18, 2006
This review is from: Who Invented Lemonade?: The Power of Positive Perspective (Paperback)
As a business owner I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I connected with it not only professionally but personally as well. I am making it mandatory reading for several of my employees as I think it will really get them in the right state of mind. My husband also read it and found that he could relate to it and use the motivation in his own business as well. This is just want I needed to refocus.
