A good introduction to the ten commandments for young children. The illustrations make it entertaining while the discussion is simple yet meaningful. I recommend it to Jewish and Christian audiences alike.

This is a great way to gain a deeper understanding of the ten commandments for kids and parents alike. We loved the intro to each commandment - as if we too were standing at the base of Mount Sinai. Then each story makes quite an impression without hitting you over the head with the moral of the story/the commandment. These stories are clever and rich. We are glad to have this as part of our home library and will return to read this book again and again.

I LOVE this book. As a Christian looking for the Hebrew context of Scripture, I really appreciate not just he teaching part, but also the object lesson stories. They prompt discussion and questions. I recommend to anyone wanting to teach their families to understand the intent of the 10 Words.

This is a very precious book to have in your home library as well as at the Synagogue. The 10 Commandments are illustrated by stories which readily encourage discussion. The story illustrating the 5th Commandment of Honor Your Father and Your Mother is well worth the price of the book by itself.
