Book Description

1571290818 978-1571290816 October 1, 2000 Updated
Who murdered Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin? Was it a fanatic right-wing loner, or is the truth more sinister?

An amateur film of the assassination, as well as eyewitness testimony, documents that Rabin appeared unhurt from shots fired at the notorious peace rally. The same footage clearly shows a back door of Rabin's empty limousine slammed shut from inside before the Prime Minister was pushed into the vehicle. Who was waiting for him? And what happened during the limousine's abnormally lengthy detour en route to the hospital? The death certificate stated that Rabin was shot in the chest and that his spine was shattered. Why did the doctors later change their stories to fit the official tale, which has Rabin shot in his back at a distance?

Falsehoods are exposed and truth revealed in this tirelessly investigated exposé that proves beyond the shadow of a doubt the existence of shocking treachery that has altered the course of human affairs.

Editorial Reviews

Review

No one truly objective will deny that Barry Chamish has torn apart the Israeli government falsehood that Yitzhak Rabin was killed by a lone gunman named Amir. The volume of evidence amassed by Chamish in so short a time is nothing short of wondrous. Chamish has now made his mark on history. -- Joel Bainerman, author of Crimes of a President --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

4.0 out of 5 stars Important book, December 18, 1998
By A Customer
Barry Chamish has performed an important serice in bringing this book to the public's attention. He makes a convincing case that the Israeli Leftist establishment, through its control of the politically biased Jewish section of the General Security Service, found a person with extreme views on Yitzhak Rabin and the Oslo Agreements and give him the motivation, means and opportunity to carry out the assassination in order to create sympathy for the unpopular agreements and the then ruling Labor Party. The book is flawed in that the author makes too far-reaching conclusions regarding the actual murder, which may be true, but are based on inadequate evidence. Also, too much is made of conflicting testimony of various witnesses because it is well known that any rapidly occurring incident is perceived in different ways by different witnesses. I also think that it is not necessary to look to foreign intrigues to explain the motivation of those who were behind the conspiracy. Still, the book is an important effort to break the conspiracy of silence by the Israeli Left's Bolshevik-like control of the Media, State Prosecutor's office, etc. The bottom line is that Yitzhak Rabin z''l was a victim of a program carried out by his own office which was in direct control of the General Security Services

1.0 out of 5 stars Barry Chamish... loon in a religious suit, March 21, 2006
This review is from: Who Murdered Yitzhak Rabin? 2nd Ed. (Paperback)
Who exactly is this Barry Chamish? Is he a gifted historian, or a typical nutjob? Well, to see for yourself, check him out on the web. You will find that good 'ol Barry is one of the head honchos when it comes to the UFO conspiracy that the Antichrist will come back with aliens in UFO's guiding him. No, as others have said, Barry Chamish's book on the Rabin conspiracy (with more holes in it than swiss cheese) is an insult to intelligence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Little known facts about the Rabin murder are revealed, April 10, 1999
By A Customer
This book is a must for any serious student of the Middle East peace process and the history of Israel. Chamish reveals how the official story behind the Rabin murder cannot be true, and that, contrary to popular belief, Rabin was probably killed by people who were interested in promoting the peace process rather than stopping it.

Chamish offers some theories on what may have transpired behind the scenes. When you read the book, remember that the purpose of these theories are (probably not) to give 100% correct answers to everything that transpired, but to give you an idea of what MAY have happened. The book will raise more questions than it answers.
