My 8-year-old history buff loved this book. He has also read a number of other books from this series, and he has loved them all.

I bought the kindle edition for my daughter (10 years) for a book report. She read the 1st 80 pages before bed, and repeatedly kept running up to me giving me information about Queen Elizabeth. By the time she got home today from school, she was finished with it. She loved it! And it kept her reading all the way through. Fastest she has every read a book, and the most info she has ever been able to recall! Highly recommend!
