Book Description

June 25, 2002 1 and upLenticular Book
Here’s a humorous Sesame Street version of the familiar childhood game “Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar?” One by one, the cookies disappear from Cookie Monster’s cookie jar. Who do you think gobbled them up? An attention-grabbing lenticular shape on the cover makes this even more fun for all!

Editorial Reviews

From Publishers Weekly

The board books Who Took the Cookie?, illus. by Tom Brannon and What's in Oscar's Trash Can? by Lisa Findlay, illus. by Joe Ewers, are just for fun. The first offers a twist on the well-known rhyme ("Who took the cookie from Cookie's jar? Bert took the cookie from Cookie's jar!"); five treats disappear and Bert, Zoe, Grover and Oscar are suspected of stealing. In the second title, Oscar searches for his worm, Slimey, while flaps lift to let readers join the fun. (June)

5.0 out of 5 stars Favorite book of 1-year old nephew, September 12, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Who Took the Cookie? (Lenticular Book) (Board book)
Inquisitive repetitive language, clear colorful pictures, and Sesame street characters have all led to this being my nephew's favorite book. He can point out all of the characters and always grins and claps his hands for Cookie Monster. He will request this to be read repeatedly several times a day, and we now have 3 copies as my sister keeps 'losing' it.
