HATE TO USE THE WORD "CUTE," BUT IT WORKS WITH THIS ONE.,
This review is from: Who Wants a Dragon? (Paperback)
This is the story of a little, apparently lost, dragon who is searching for someone who wants him. Kids love this story. The author has used simple rhyme to tell his story and it is quite effective as the children can, after a few readings, recite the words along with the reader. James Mayhew has done a very nice job here and the artist, Lindsey has created some fantastic and simply fun pictures. Our little dragon travels from place to place trying to find someone who wants him, to love him and to cuddle him. It is not easy to find someone who wants a dragon setting on their lap or setting around the castle. Finally, our baby dragon finds the one person who is sure to love and take him...his mom. This is a very nice book to read a bed time and it is one that the little ones will want read over and over to them. Highly recommend this one.

This is still my son's favorite book after 2 years, we both know it by heart, I can calm him down & cheer him even over the phone with this book. He loved it at 3, he loves it at 5 1/2.
WE both love it. A wonderful gift & what I give to everyone...This is our all time favorite book to read. The reassurance of mommy coming to find baby is touching.

I have to start out with the fact that my kids LOVE this book. It is about a little lost dragon who is looking for someone to love him. The story line is cute. There is a nice variety of characters, from a witch to a knight to a sleepy princess. I have to say though, even for a children's book, the wording is a bit corny.
"Who wants a dragon? This knight bave and bold? How could he leave him outside in the cold?" It starts off good, the witch can't have him because he is too big for the broom but then everyone else in the book is afraid of him. I sort of expected a few different reasons and not just the same one over and over. But it is our main bedtime story. My son cheers so loud when we get to the end. The kids pick it out night after night so something about it must be just right!

My toddler son's favorite book!,
By
This review is from: Who Wants a Dragon? (Paperback)
My almost-two-year-old son has had this book read to him every night since he was 3 months old. He now chants along with the easy, wonderful rhyming, points out the big white moon on the first page, cuddles and kisses when it says cuddle or kiss, makes biting noises when the knight is afriad the dragon will give him a bite, and shouts "Oh, No!" just like the king and queen. I have this book memorized! This is a wonderful book to start kids reading on. The illustrations are wonderful, the words are simple and sing-song-y, and the story has a very happy ending - the little dragon finds someone to love him, his mommy! This is the book I buy for all of the baby showers I go to.

I read this book to some kids I was babysitting and I was so pleased I took a picture of the cover so I could remember it. This book was cute. I loved the art and the different characters the dragon went to. I thought it was so sweet that it ended with the dragon finding his mother.

My four year old son loves this book. It's about a little lost Dragon who follows a witch, a knight, a Princess and many more trying to find someone to cuddle and love him. This book is full of cute illustrations and has short poetic sentences my son can say along with me. A great book for your little dragon lover.
