5.0 out of 5 stars Millionaire game extremely addictive, October 26, 2000
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (Game Cartridge)
If you have ever seen a quiz game on the Game Boy,(I haven't) it might not be as good as this. WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE 2ND EDITION is an extremely addictive game. Let me put it this way, you press the power button the first time, and you instantly feel this little tingle inside of you. You start playing, and you want to get up the money chain higher, and higher. The graphics and sound make you feel like you're there sitting with the host( who I shall not name for reasons), and you are in the hot seat. Each question has the famous bordering around it, and when you make more and more money, you feel better, it cheers you up, and you want to MAKE MORE. MONEY MONEY. This game is VERY GOOD and I highly reccomend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Review, October 19, 2000

This review is from: Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (Game Cartridge)
If you thought Tetris was the most addictive game ever to cross our palms then make way for this baby. It constantly keeps you coming back for more when you miss a question and you become more determined to get yourself a million big ones. I must have played this game for at least 12 hours now even though I've only had it 2 days. Ok you may call me a looser for playing Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for 12 hours but I can tell you once you press that start button you'll never want to turn that little box of colors off untill your eyes bleed of course. Graphics are completely in keeping with the show atmosphere. It really makes you fell that you are in the hot seat answering those questions. Controlls couldn't be any easier at all. Simply chose your answer with the A button, if you want to change your mind chose B then chose again. If you want to use one of your life lines then hit that neglected select button. That's all there is to it.

If your over 12 and have a fair grasp of general knowlege then put this down on your most wanted list. If your 5 years of age playing Pokemon, keep playing. All the same, I got it and I can't put it down, another game in my on my wall of fame. A must have for any fan of the show.

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit better than version #1, but still not excellent, February 19, 2001
This review is from: Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (Game Cartridge)
This game could be a five star game if the programmers would just do one thing. ADD MORE QUESTIONS! The lower-level questions just plain repeat themselves too often.

The game does as much justice to the TV show as a computer game could do. That is why I am happy with it. The lifelines usually help you out, but you still have to use your judgement. I guess that it really is the next best thing to being there.

I love the TV show, and this game is fun to play, but only until you start getting the early questions over and over again.

Plus, it lacks one other feature that the 1st version also lacks. You can't skip parts that you have seen before, which you would love to skip over. Every time that you start up the game you have to sit through a somewhat annoying introduction.

It's still worth buying, but not at the current price ... ...
