Book Description

Over a long, turbulent life, Picasso continually discovered new ways of seeing the world and translating it into art. A restless genius, he went through a blue period, a rose period, and a Cubist phase. He made collages, sculptures out of everyday objects, and beautiful ceramic plates. True Kelley's engaging biography is a wonderful introduction to modern art.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book! February 19, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was super easy to read! It only took me 3 days to read and I'm only in fifth grade! I give this book a 5 out of 5 rating because it was so easy to read and it gave me information that I didn't even know and it started out like you thought that it was going to be all words no pictures, when actually it's quite the opposite!

4.0 out of 5 stars PICASSO TO THE POINT April 29, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The booklet gives an overview of Picasso the artist. It is factual and easy to read. His personal life does not feature much in the booklet although it should be interesting reading matter.
I would recommend the booklet to people who want to buy a Picasso artwork and want to know more about the period and backround of the specific artwork.
