A Kid's Review
This review is from: Who Will I Run To / Kiss Me Like That (Audio CD)
Kiley Dean is #1!! SHE ROX MY SOX!!(Yes, my sox like her music too) 'Who Will I Run To' is now my favorite song. I turn my radio up to the max when that song comes on so the whole world could hear what an AWESOME singer she is. The press and all of them should look in her direction. Who knows, the whole world might love her as much as we do, the next big star!!!L8rs

I just have to say that she has been added to my list of singers whom WoW me...Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, and NOW...Ms. Thang..KILEY DEAN. Her voice is amazing, the song "Who Will I Run TO" is AMAZING. I heard it on the radio., didnt know who she was, just that I liked the song, and the note she hits towards the end got my attention, also her voice is so soulful. Shes so cute, and holds her own ground. I feel she needs more publicity!!! She should get a new publicist, I'm starting to do some promos for her, cause you can't let an artist like this pass by: SHES WOW...do your thang Kiley. EVERYONE BUY THIS CD!, and look out for her album

Real Talent,
This review is from: Who Will I Run To / Kiss Me Like That (Audio CD)
Kiley has such a beautiful voice (why the hell was she a back up singer for that b**** Britney Spears?!?!) Who will i run to is a slow song, but kiss me like that is more upbeat. Kiley needs to get the promotion she DESERVES. The only promotion Timbaland's record label is giving Kiley is playing her songs RARELY on the radio, u need 2 give her heavy mtv play and kiley will sell millions of C.Ds. I wish Kiley's record company would release her album real quick!

ok! somebody tell me something...cuz this girl is hot..where is her record at she shouldv'e been out so long ago.Who Will I Run To- The song is touching and it kind of reminds of a time when you truly miss someone you love and trying to find out how to mend your broken heart. It was well said and sung. -----5 Stars Kiss Me Like That- I like this song too..she shows she can just chill and just be a down to earth hip hop girl..i'm feeling this too Kiley. It's ashame she was a backup singer for Britney Spears because to me how could this voice hide in the background??? her vocals are 10,000 times better..do you agree? but overall this is a good track------4 stars I give it 5 stars overall because i think she's hot! she should be out by now doing it bigger..but i know she's trying to get ready i guess and get well known to radio..but she needs a video to debut on MTV sometime you know...

I just saw her sing the National Anthem for the Pro Bowl, and it was one of the best renditions I have ever heard. What an amazing voice, showcased so well with that song. Too bad neither of these is that song. "Who Will I Run to" lets her voice soar some, but it is just lost on "Kiss Me Like That." Perhaps the full album will offer more tracks with better opportunities to use her sensational pipes. Wait for the album to come out!

And to think Kiley was once a back up singer for Britney Spears...I am so glad that she has recorded an album of her own. A talent like that should not be wasted on background vocals. Hopefully others will continue to recognize this talent in the future.

Oh my God, the first time I heard Who Will I Run To, I loved it. Just hearing the chorus makes me want to cry. It is also my favorite song now. This is the best song in the entire world, I don't care what anyone says. Everyone that I let listen to it really liked it. She does need more publicity. Her album Simple Girl is supposed to be coming out but i'm not sure when, it's not even listed in Amazon.com. I hope it doesn't take long though because I am definately buying it. And you should too! Oh my god you won't regret it!

More than just a 'Simple Girl',
By A Customer
This review is from: Who Will I Run To / Kiss Me Like That (Audio CD)
Kiley Dean is a rare female voice that comes around every five to ten years. Before her, it was Alicia Keys and Christina Aguillera. Before that, Aaliyah and Beyonce. Before them, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houstan and several others during that time. Having heard the majority of her unreleased album, "Simple Girl", which I just found out has been redone with only four cuts from the original album saved for the new one, everyone needs to know about Ms. Dean. Since Timbaland's Beat Club Records isn't doing much with her until recently, it's time to go elsewhere, but still supplied with those Timbo beats, of course. The first single, "Make Me A Song" was a nice introduction to Kiley, as she asks the trackmaster himself, Timbaland, to supply her with beats sure to keep the party movin'. To me, it's a swipe at the artists that get those Timbaland beat biters to do their tracks instead of asking the man himself. Sure he charges an arm and a leg, but think of the long run: a successful song that will be memorable. Many people believed that Kiley was ripping off the late, great Aaliyah by singing 'rock the boat' in the chorus. Not at all. KD was simply paying homage to Aaliyah in asking for a track that could be just as great as some of Aaliyah's biggest hits. "Simple Girl" originally promised cuts like "Keep It Movin'", "Simple Girl", "Cross The Line" and "Busy"-- all sure hits-- surrounded by other tracks such as "Kiss Me Like That" and "Stay Away (From My Boyfriend)", a throw back to 1950's/1960's, a kind of doo wopish music. But for some reason, her album got held back, possibly due to being leaked on the internet. For several months after "Make Me A Song", no one heard anything from Kiley until "Who Will I Run To?" hit the airwaves. A video was promised but then, again, nothing. Kiley needs a label that is ready to make moves not a new label by a hitmaking producer that has only a handful of artists attatched to the label (Bubba Sparxxx, Kiley Dean, Attitude, and D.O.E). So far, three artists have also been dropped/left Beat Club, including Ms. Jade, Shelby Norman, and Timbaland's own brother, Sebastian <---- speculation since Sebastian is no longer on BC's website). If BC wants to get recognition and profit from an artist, it needs to do whatever it takes to get the artist noticed. It's not happening here and Kiley is a destined star in this business, and it would be silly if they miss out on her. Visit kileydean.net or kileyfan.com for up to date Kiley Dean news! |
