From Library Journal

Romances by two topnotch authors are paired in this promo title: Shayne's Two Hearts and Pappano's A Little Bit Dangerous. When veteran cop Jack McCain blows his street cover to save a man from being mugged, he has no idea that he is about to become part of a down-to-earth tycoon's plan to rescue his individualistic daughter from her mother's matrimonial machinations. Jack is just the type of "real man" Harry Phelps wants his Gracie to date, and when he notices the instant attraction between the two the first time they meet, he is more determined than ever to make sure it happens. An athlete struggling to be a "lady," a hero pretending to be something he's not, and a lively, humorous style add zing to Shayne's classic plot, which neatly combines deception with romance and makes it all come out right. Shayne (Infinity) is a veteran writer of contemporary, fantasy, and paranormal romance and lives near Syracuse, NY. Sheltered school teacher Mary Katherine Monroe would do just about anything for her lovable scoundrel granddad, even get a summer job as a cocktail waitress on a riverboat casino so that she can gather information that might clear his name of an old accusation. But when the assistant head of security turns out to be none other than the man who abruptly left her eight years earlierDwith no explanationDher job becomes a lot more romantic but infinitely more risky. A magnetic hero with a dangerous secret, a gentle, na ve heroine on a mission, and a crime-ridden subplot in glitzy, tawdry setting with a Mardi Gras flair come together in a compelling, sensual story that explores trust, truth, and the importance of both to love. Pappano (Rogue's Reform) is a popular writer of romantic suspense and contemporaries who lives in Oklahoma.

WHO DO YOU LOVE? consists of two novellas in answer to the question posed in the title. "Two Hearts" by Maggie Shayne and "A Little Bit Dangerous" by Marilyn Pappano both present interesting twists to this question because these heroes and heroines are not quite what them seem, thereby making their paths to love especially interesting.
"Two Hearts"
Harry Phelps was in the wrong place at the wrong time, inadvertently placing himself in danger and ruining a long planned bust when police officer Jack McCain has to spring to his rescue. When Jack saves the older man's life, Harry orchestrates an opportunity for his daughter to meet the police officer, introducing him as a security specialist. After all, society women from the finest families don't date cops, despite the fact that men of their own social strata often appear insipid at best.
Harry's daughter Grace has grown weary of her mother's attempts to make her over in the appropriate image. Grace prefers basketball courts to ballrooms. Just once she allows her mother to dress her and that just happens to be the night Jack meets Grace. But love at first sight leads to Grace trying to live the image she believes Jack loves. When the truth comes out, about them both, the question remains if each will still love the bold stranger hiding behind the façade.
"A Little Bit Dangerous"
Paddy Monroe has a reputation for falling victim to cons and then playing innocent. So when he looses his life savings aboard a gambling boat, only his granddaughter Mary Katherine tries to delve into the incident. She knows her grandfather's weaknesses, but sacrifices her summer in an effort to please him just the same.
Unfortunately, Mary Katherine underestimates the task she's accepted.

This romance Intimate Moment contained not one but two heartwarming stories of love. First was Maggie Shayne's Two Hearts. Jack and Gracie met and fell in love and THEN all the strange things happened. First they started off by lying to each other about who they really were. He thought she was a pampered princess and she thought he was a security expert. What they really were is what makes the entire book a great read. Find out what happens when you stop lying and begin to peel away the truth.
The second book was A Little Bit of Deception by Marilyn Pappano. Chance walked away from his one true love once before but he doesn't plan on making the same mistake twice. To his family, he was born under a lucky star, and he hopes to keep his luck running. Life as an undercover agent has made him lose the woman of his dreams once, he doesn't plan on letting Mary Katherine get away a second time.
This is a great read. You'll love the adventure and romance. I know I did.
